This video here is from Spotify and provides an overview of how they went about changing their Scrum framework to an approach that suited there work environment far better.
Spotify found that as they grew and had more than one dev team that some parts of scrum were starting to hinder them move then help. So they made some changes.
It should be noted that the approach they use is still close to a scrum approach, but it evolved over time to what suited there teams the best.
There also emphasis self-autonomy and this engages the team members, makes them feel more engaged and produces a higher quality of work.
